Well, today Greig and I took Mom to Dr. Jones' office. She was having a hard time breathing during and after her PT this morning. At the office Dr. Jones' PA read mom's xray and listened to her lungs. She felt that her lungs had fluid in them and decided to hospitalize her again for a CT scan and blood work, which will tell how much fluid is in her system.
Before I left she was back on oxygen and already beginning to feel better. I hope this is just another bump in the road to recovery.

Hi, Grandma!
Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. Work has been pretty crazy and I've been very lazy in the evenings when I get home - definitely no excuse for not writing. I wanted you to know that I read the blog everyday and am continually praying for you and thinking about you. I'm saddened to hear that you're back in the hospital and hope that the tests show everything is on the mend. I was glad to hear that you were able to get down to Vincent's house for his birthday (Unfortunately, Uncle Art doesn't listen to his Dad and completely forgot it was this past weekend-I think I'm in the running for "Loser Uncle of the Year" award. I've won it before.... Sorry Shannon, Jamie, and Vincent. I believe I've forgotten some other birthdays recently, as well. Yay me...) I'm probably better categorized as Cousin Eddie from National Lampoon's Vacation.
The family is doing well and staying very busy. Peggy works a lot of late days and I fear it is wearing her down. She's trying to schedule her surgery before the end of the year, but is having doctor problems.
Mandy is having a great time in school. She's really dedicated to her studies. I went and picked her up a couple of weekends ago so she could come home for the weekend and, as soon as we got in car, she hit the books. I'm proud of her. The school is very ministry oriented and I believe her experiences will reap eternal benefits. She keeps talking about boys! Glad it's boys she's interested in, but I wish she talk more about hockey or...uh, cheese - something other than boys. My baby don't need one of them! ;)
Billy and Heather are doing well. Their jobs are good and stable and they're able to work opposite shifts so they don't have to put the girls in daycare. I'm really proud of both of them. They're doing a great job with the girls.
Sarah recently cut one of her fingers open that required her to get 2 stitches. It was on the knuckle, so healing was a little more difficult. Even though she was the one who broke the glass vase, she is holding her dad responsible. He threw the glass in the "twash" and she reached in twash can later in the day and OUCH! She's informed him numerous times that he's in twouble. The stitches are now out and she's got a bit of a scar.
Alyson is getting to be quite the girl. She's starting to talk a bit and is lot of fun. She's saying "Bye-bye", "tan-too" (thank you), "Wooowww" and "ooooohhhh". She loves running around the house and biting the rubber buttons on my tv remote. I'm buying her some dog chew toys for Christmas! We better not put her and Creig's dog together! Good night!! Can you imagine the gnawing damage those two could inflict?
Sarah was a princess for Halloween (surprise) - she had the crown, magic wand (I know that princesses generally don't have magic wands, but in Sarah's world they do!), silk gloves, and plastic (glass) slippers. Alyson played the role of Tulip Fairy with a cute little hat and curly-toed shoes. Billy and Heather were pirates....I just wore a wig in a style from the 1980's. The hairstyle is called a "mullet." A fat guy with a "mullet" is scary enough without any other accessories. We'll be sending some pictures to Mom and Dad soon - none of the fat guy, though.
The weather is starting to get pretty cold. We've had to start wearing jeans and long-sleeved shirts to keep warm. If it keeps on like this, it could be a LONG winter. Y'all pray for us! ;)
Well, I'm gonna close now and go get me some dinner and watch hockey. Keep getting better, but make sure you don't do too much, too fast. I love you and hope to see you soon.
With much love, Art, Peggy, Billy, Heather, Mandy, Sarah, and Ms. Alyson.
