Sharon's Drawing at the Cabin

Sharon had brought Mom a drawing she had done while staying at our place on Whitefish Bay. Mom really loved to go up there even with knowing our dog was going too!

The picture was out the front window overlooking the water. Here's a picture I took I think last summer of the same spot..........

Our Hunting Heritage

Our mom loved the woods and especially loved the deer woods. Mom was proud of two of her great grandsons, Jake and Alex, each connecting with their first deer this fall. In the hospital she just beamed when told the news of each of these special events.

Jake connected with his bow and gave the deer a sporting chance taking it on the second shot. You'll have to talk to him to get the full story. This at 11 years old!

Alex shot his during the youth firearm hunt- I think with the same gun his dad shot his first deer with........sounds like another tradition! Alex is 14 years old........
