Thanks for the continued updates, Dad! And, thanks to Sharon and everyone else who keeps us in the loop on the daily events.
Glad you're continuing to do well, Grandma! I hope the "drainage" tasks and other rehab chores aren't too painful for you....they sure sound like it though. I'm definitely thinking about you and praying for you during this time.
Here's an interesting thing I observed: The last 4 posts by Dad all show up on my computer as being posted at 8:26 PM. I can't imagine that he's posting at the exact same time, so there must be something up with the Blob. However, I thought the trend was interesting and decided to look in the Bible and see if there might be an "8:26" scripture that would speak to us during this time. Not surprising to me, there is one... Romans 8:26 says the following:
"Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words."
There have been a LOT of things that have happened to Gram over the last several weeks that resulted in a numerous prayers being offered up on her behalf. In many cases, there were things we understood to some level, but in reality, we probably knew very little about what was happening to her and what needed to be done to help her through this time. But the Spirit knew exactly was needed and made intercession for us! It's not about what you know, but who you know. This really is a praise God moment! ;) How appropriate!
Dad, were you subliminally teaching us a lesson? I think you were, but you've taught me so many lessons over the years, I've caught on to your methods!
I love you all, Art!
